Akron Police investigate fatal shooting | News
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office and the Akron Police Department are investigating the homicide death of Richard Coryell, a 24 year old male from Wild Cherry Drive in Akron.
Saturday, April 14th, at approximately 12:28 am, Coryell was involved in an altercation in the parking lot of the Old Haunts Tavern, located at 1527 East Market Street in Akron when he was subsequently shot.
Mr. Coryell was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:11 am on April 14, 2012.
There are no arrests or suspects at this time.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Akron Police Department.
