Suspect arrested for Akron teen's shooting death | News

AKRON, OH (WOIO)- Detectives arrested Demarco D. Wright, 18, of Laster Street, in Canton, Ohio, for Murder and Felonious Assault.  Wright was involved in the early morning shooting death of Precious Love, 19, of East Milton Street, in Alliance, Ohio.  

Around 2:30 this morning, Precious Love was found inside of a home in the 600 block of Carlysle Street with a gunshot wound.  She was transported to Akron City Hospital where she later died.  The Summit County Medical Examiner will conduct and autopsy tomorrow.

No further details surrounding the shooting are available at this time as the homicide remains under investigation.

Wright was taken into custody shortly after the shooting.  He was booked into the Summit County Jail.  Wright is scheduled for an arraignment hearing in Akron Municipal Court on April 30, 2012 at 9:00 am.
