AKRON, OH (WOIO)- Akron Police need your help to identify an armed robbery suspect.
It happened shortly after midnight on May 15 at the First Merit Bank on Kenmore Boulevard.
As the victim started to make a transaction, she noticed several people gathering behind her. A man produced a handgun and shoved the weapon in her face.
The suspect stole the victim's car keys, money and cigarettes.
He's described as a black man, 18-20 years of age, 5'8" to 5'10" with a possible thin mustache. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. He is possibly left-handed.
After stealing the victim's property, the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Do not attempt to approach him. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Richardson at 330-375-2490.
