Stranded motorist attacked by helpers | News
AKRON, OH (WOIO)- A stranded motorist was attacked by three men who stopped to help him.
The victim's vehicle broke down in front of 91 East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue in Akron, Ohio.
Police say John E. Coffey and two other men stopped to help the victim. The victim offered the men money for their assistance and that's when the males beat him up and stole his money.
Coffey has been charged with robbery.
