Woman sought for role in baby's scalding | News
(WOIO)- A 25-year-old woman is wanted for her involvement in the scalding of a baby.
Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Jenna Casteel. She is wanted for endangering children and obstructing official business.
On July 6, EMS was called to a home in Coventry Township for reported burns to an 18-month-old. The baby was transported to Akron Children's Hospital.
Through an investigation by Sheriff's Office Detectives, it was determined that the injuries were caused by water poured onto the child by Dusty Gauder. Gauder was charged with Felonious Assault and Endangering Children.
Sheriff's Deputies are currently attempting to locate Casteel, whom is the live-in girlfriend of Gauder. She has recently resided in Coventry Township and the Barberton area.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should contact the Summit County Sheriff's Office at 330-643-2181.
