30-year-old attacked at Akron bar, suspect sought

AKRON, OH (WOIO)- Around 11 p.m. Friday night, a fight broke out on the patio at Papa Don's bar, located at 1891 East Market Street.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, reported he was attacked by two men. At first, the suspects were throwing punches at the victim, and soon the suspects were throwing beer bottles.

The suspects fled the bar and the victim was transported to a local hospital where he suffered a concussion, lacerations on his head, a broken jaw and several loose teeth.

The suspects were identified and charges were signed. One suspect, James Carson, 28, was charged with Felonious Assault and booked into the Summit County Jail.

The second suspect, Mark McQuaid, 26, is still wanted for Felonious Assault. McQuaid is a white man, 5'10", 160 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes.
